Jeremy and Carmen Cooper are the visionaries behind the Circle8 Wagyu brand.

At Circle8 Fullblood Wagyu, Jeremy and Carmen are dedicated to excellence and take a holistic approach to cattle breeding.

Their breeding direction emphasises simplicity, focusing heavily on amplifying traits that hold the highest economic significance.

They recognise that their business has multiple elements within the cattle industry - cows + carcase + consumer. Each requires individual recognition, collectively however, they work in synergy towards a final outcome.

In a cow/calf production system, reproduction is the number one driver of profitability.

Reproduction traits are 5X more important than growth and 10X more important than carcase traits.

To honour the tradition of the Wagyu breed and its exceptional meat quality and sensory characteristics, we are currently collecting as much data as possible on Fullblood Wagyu carcases.

Our goal is to increase the volume of carcases as the number of our cow herd grows.
